Fasilitas iradiasi Rabbit System merupakan fasilitas iradiasi yang digunakan untuk penelitian aktivasi neutron¹⁾. Ada dua jenis Rabbit System, yaitu 4 buah hydraulic rabbit system (JBB01-JBB04) dengan media pengiriman berupa air bebas mineral dan Rabbit System Pneumatik (JBB 05). Waktu tempuh pengiriman dan pemulangan kapsul pada fasilitas hydraulic rabbit system tergantung dengan besaran laju alir yang terpantau pada instrumen pengukuran aliran. pada saat ini waktu tempuh pengiriman kapsul dari isotope cell ke posisi iradiasi telah ditetapkan oleh bagian keteknikan sebesar 46 detik ternyata tidak memenuhi kebutuhan operasional rabbit system, Tujuan dari penulisan makalah ini adalah untuk mengetahui waktu tempuh kapsul pada fasilitas hydraulic rabbit RS 2, untuk mengetahui waktu tempuh tersebut perlu dilakukan pengamatan laju alir yang variatif dengan membuka katup (JBB02 AA007), sehingga waktu pengiriman maupun pemulangan kapsul pada fasilitas hydraulic rabbit system dapat diketahui. Dari pengamatan yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil waktu tempuh pengiriman kapsul polyethylene (PE) dari isotope cell ke posisi iradiasi sesuai persamaan grafik Y=57,67 e^-0,139.x, untuk kapsul Aluminium (Al) sesuai persamaan grafik Y= 68,178 e^-0,189.x, sedangkan waktu tempuh pemulangan kapsul poly ethelene (PE) dari posisi iradiasi ke isotope cell sesuai persamaan grafik Y=56,459 e^-13.x, untuk kapsul Al sesuai persamaan grafik Y= 65,51 ^e-183.x , sehingga hasil ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk menentukan waktu tempuh yang diinginkan oleh operator.

DETERMINATION OF TRAVEL TIME CAPSULES HYDRAULIC RABBIT SYSTEM CHANNEL 2     (JBB 02) AT THE G.A.SIWABESSY REACTOR. Rabbit System is an irradiation facilities used for research on neutron activation. There are two types of Rabbit Systems including 4 pieces Rabbit Hydraulic Systems (JBB01 - JBB04) and Rabbit Pneumatic Systems (JBB 05). Irradiation facility of hydraulic rabbit system is irradiation facility with media delivery in the form of capsules. Travel time delivery and the return capsule in hydraulic rabbit system facility depends on the magnitude of the observed flow rate on flow measurement instruments for water circulation. To determine the travel time should be observed flow rates varied by opening the valve (JBB02 AA007), so the delivery time and the return capsule in the rabbit facility hydraulic system can be known. Observations made from the results obtained travel time capsule delivery poly ethylene ( PE ) of the isotope cell to irradiation position appropriate to the graph Y=57,67 e^-0,139.x, for capsules Aluminum ( Al ) appropriate graph Y= 68,178 e^-0,189.x, while the travel time of the return capsule poly ethylene ( PE ) from the irradiation position to the isotope cell appropriate graph Y=56,459 e^-13.x, for capsules Al appropriate graph Y= 65,51 ^e-183.x this result can be used as a reference for determining the travel time desired by the operator .
