AN ANALYSIS OF DATA ACQUISITION PROCESS ON THE COORDINATE RECONSTRUCTION FOR TREATMENT PLANNING SYSTEM (TPS) OF CERVIX CANCER BRACHYTHERAPY. An analysis of data acquisition process on the coordinate reconstruction for Treatment Planning System (TPS) of cervix cancer brachytherapy has been conducted. The analysis is implemented to evaluate a conceptual design of a reconstruction coordinate algorithm in the TPS of cancer cervix brachytherapy that has been developed. The analysis in this paper is emphasized on its data acquisition processes which are taken through two-image projections of X-ray. The X-ray source positions, coordinate systems, and values transformation become the object of the analysis. The results of the analysis show that the X-ray source posistions are not neccesary orthogonal and isocentric, data transmission through the scanner need to be corrected by rotation, and the values transformation can be calculated by considering its original value and its final value in the acquisition data process.

Telah dilakukan analisis proses pengambilan data pada rekonstruksi koordinat untuk Treatment Planning System (TPS) brakitherapi kanker servik. Analisis ini dilakukan untuk evaluasi atas disain konsep algoritma rekonstruksi koordinat dalam proses TPS brakiterapi yang telah dibuat. Dalam makalah ini titik berat analisis pada proses pengambilan data melalui dua foto proyeksi menggunakan sinar-X, posisi sumber sinar-X, sistem koordinat, dan transformasi ukuran menjadi obyek dalam analisis. Dari analisis disimpulkan bahwa posisi sumber sinar-X tidak harus orthogonal dan isosentris, perlu koreksi dengan teknik rotasi untuk kemungkinan kesalahan dalam proses transmisi data melalui alat-pemindai, dan transformasi ukuran bisa dilakukan dengan hanya melihat ukuran di awal dan di akhir proses dalam pengambilan data.
