KONTROL PARAMETER PADA PROSES PEMEKATAN SEKSI 600 DI INSTALASI PEMURNIAN DAN KONVERSI (PCP)

ABSTRAK
Proses pemekatan larutan uranil nitrat telah dilakukan dalam evaporator E-601 di seksi 600. Proses Pemekatan dilakukan dengan cara memanaskan larutan Uranil Nitrat (UN) menggunakan uap panas (steam) sampai densitasnya tercapai 1,27 Kg/l, setara dengan kadar uranium sebesar 200 gU/l. Selama proses berlangsung ada beberapa parameter yang harus dijaga agar hasil yang diinginkan dapat tercapai. Parameter tersebut antara lain suhu uap panas (steam) masuk untuk memanaskan evaporator E-601, suhu dalam evaporator E-601 untuk menguapkan larutan Uranil Nitrat (UN) ,volume larutan Uranil Nitrat (UN) dalam evaporator E-601 sebagai tempat terjadinya proses pemekatan, dan juga densitas larutan Uranil Nitrat (UN) hasil proses pemekatan. Selama 480 menit berjalannya proses, Uranil Nitrat (UN) umpan yang dipekatkan sebanyak 316,3 liter dan didapatkan larutan Uranil Nitrat (UN) hasil proses pemekatan sebanyak 48,6 liter. Dengan pengontrolan parameter - parameter tersebut selama proses, didapatkan larutan Uranil Nitrat (UN) pekat dengan kadar uranium mencapai ±188 gU/l. Kadar uranium tersebut telah memenuhi kriteria yang dibutuhkan pada proses pengendapan seksi 900.

ABSTRACK This concentration process of Uranyl Nitrate solusion is performed in the evaporator E-601 in section 600. The concentration process is done by heating the Uranil Nitrate (UN) solution using steam until the density is reached 1.27 Kg / l so that the uranium level can reach 200 gU / l. During the process there are several parameters that must be maintained so that the desired results can be achieved. These parameters include the temperature of the feed of steam to heat the evaporator E-601, the temperature internal in the evaporator E-601 to evaporate the Uranil Nitrate (UN) solution, the volume of Uranil Nitrate (UN) solution in the evaporator E-601 as the room of the concentration process, and also density the Uranil Nitrate (UN) solution the results of the concentration process. During the 480 minute process, the feed of Uranil Nitrate (UN) was concentrated as much as 316.3 liters and obtained 48.6 liters of Uranil Nitrate (UN) solution from the concentration process. With controlling the parameters during the process, obtained also concentrated Uranil Nitrate (UN) solution with uranium level reaching ± 188 gU / l. The uranium level has fullfilled the criteria required of the precipitation process in section 900.
