DAMPAK EKSISTENSI PLTN-DESALINASI TERHADAP SEKTOR EKONOMI DI MADURA PADA TAHAPAN OPERASI. Studi dampak eksistensi PLTN-Desatinasi terhadap sektor ekonomi di Madura pada tahapan operasi telah dilakukan. Teknologi yang dikaji pada studi ini adalah SMART yang dikopel dengan instalasi desalinasi. Kapasitas daya 2x100 MWe dan kapasitas produksi air bersih sebesar 4x10.000 m³/hari. Teknologi ini dikembangkan oleh Korea, namun hingga saat ini belum ada PLTN jenis ini yang dibangun. Metodologi yang digunakan disini adalah dengan menerapkan analisis model Input Output. Sektor ekonomi diagregasi dari 56x56 sektor menjadi 10x10 sektor untuk kepentingan proyeksi jangka panjang. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa : (1) Pada tahap kegiatan operasi PLTN-desalinasi dengan jenis SMART dan instalasi desalinasi MED akan menghasilkan output sebesar Rp. 908,12 milyar tiap tahun. (2) Listrik dan air bersih yang dihasilkan akan memberikan dampak output langsung sebesar Rp. 1,234 triliun dan sejumlah ini akan memberikan dampak langsung PDRB di Madura sebesar Rp. 138,7 milyar. (3) Dampak output terhadap sektor listrik dan sektor air bersih cukup signifikan, yakni sebesar 5,37% dan 1,57% jika dibandingkan dengan PDRB pada tahun 2018.

ABSTRACT

ECONOMIC IMPACT OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN THE OPERATIONAL STAGE. Study on economic impact of nuclear power plant in the operational stage, in Madura has been conducted. The object of the study is SMART technology which is coupled with desalination nstallation. The power capacity is 2 x 100 MWe and the water production capacity is 4 x 10.000 m³/day. This technology has been developed by Korea, but until recently there is no units in construction or operation. Input-Output analysis model is applied as the methodology of this study. Economic sector is aggregated from 56x56 to 10x10. This aggregation is meant to reduce the uncertainty in long term projection. This study conclude that: (1) In the operational stage SMART Nuclear Power- Desalination will give an output to local economic about Rp. 908.12 billion per year. (2) Electricity and water production will provide output direct impact to Madura about Rp. 1.234 trillion and will give direct impat to Regional Product Domestic Bruto (PDRB) about Rp. 138.7 billion. (3) Output impact to the electricity sector and fresh water sector is about 5.37% and 1.57% compared to PDRB 2018.
